OUT OF OMAHA= airing on THE MOVIE CHANNEL as "California Dreaming"

FROM OMAHA WORLD HERALD, JULY 1, 2007:
"Out of Omaha", a movie filmed in Omaha in September 2005, will begin airing on the Movie Channel under a new title.

Now called "California Dreaming," the comedy about a mother trying in vain to get her dysfunctional family out of town on an RV vacation to California sports a TV-PG rating. That probably means some of the language heard at the premiere screening, part of the Omaha Film Festival in March, has been edited or dubbed out.

The film stars Lea Thompson, Dave Foley, Patricia Richardson, Ethan Phillips, and Vicki Lewis. Omahans who appear in featured or cameo roles include Lindsay Seim, Nik Fackler, Melissa Jarecke, David Kalis, Tom Wees and Jim McKain. Linda Vorhees wrote and directed the movie.

The Movie Channel is a premium cable network. Showtimes this month include Sunday July 1 10:05 Am, 4:30AM Thursday July 5th, 2:30PM on July 13th, 12:05PM on July 23rd and 5:30PM July 26th, all CDT.

FROM RHETT: Linda Voorhees is a good friend and student of Lew Hunter. She appears in the trailer for the documentary I'm editing called "ONCE IN A LEW MOON". Enjoy! She also wrote "The Lion King 2".
