Omaha Film Festival is coming March 6-14, 2010!
Meetings
Why, When, and Where
NIFP meetings bring members together to share their work, offer feedback, and ask questions about the process. We try to share experiences from the production, writing or directing backgrounds of video, TV and film. We've fully embraced HD filmaking; the quality, costs, and ease of use have revolutionized this new era of digital High Def cinema.
When does NIFP meet?
2010: BACK ON TRACK. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month we will have meetings, usually at the Mary Riepma Ross theater. If you have ideas for a special scheduled meeting, email us at mediaarts33@yahoo.com or contact us on http://www.facebook.com/nifp.org or http://twitter.com/NIFPdotorg

Where does NIFP meet?
We have experimented with multiple meeting sites. We have regularly met at the Mary Riepma Ross Theatre, but also enjoyed the State Theater downtown. If you have ideas for a meeting space that is friendly to indie film discussion and consumption of adult beverages, let us know! That includes Lincoln/Omaha/SE Nebraska!
NIFP was a member of AIVF for many years. They hosted monthly salons as a member of the Association for Independent Video and Filmmakers. AIVF had nearly 5,000 members internationally and was known for the support and resources it offers independent artists. AIVF ceased doing business in June 2006. NIFP is also members of NAMAC, www.namac.org, a national organization that is committed to furthering the media arts.
