Greetings gang,

We just posted show number 3 of the new podcast that Jeremy and I are doing. I had a chance to sit down with writer/actor/director/producer Derek Baker from Avenue Pictures and we discussed his feature film “Ulterior Motives” which will be premiering at the Omaha Film Festival on Thursday, February 21st at 8:30pm. And this just in, due to the vigorous online ticket sales, we’ve just added a second screening of the film on Saturday, February 23rd at 11:30am. Also discussed on the podcast is his short film “Unconditional” which will also be making its debut in the Nebraska Short Film block on Thursday, February 21st at 6:00pm and then on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00pm. Interested in how a film gets made? Then this podcast is for you.

If you’re interested in hearing the podcast, there are several ways to do it:

1. Go to www.offtheedgefilmmaking.com and click the little play button on the player on the right side of the page and listen right on your computer.

2. Right click and ‘save as’ the OTE003-Derek_Baker.mp3 file listed at the bottom of the description and save the mp3 right to your computer and/or mp3 listening device.

3. Go to itunes and search for “OFF the EDGE filmmaking” in the podcast section and download there. Feel free to subscribe too if you like as there will be more exciting interviews coming up. I’ll be posting another show this coming Saturday.

I’d be curious to know what you think of the shows if you listen to them. It’s something that Jeremy and I have wanted to do for a while so we’re finally doing it and we’re going to keep it going throughout the year. And again, we promise we’ll get better!
