A graduate student at Creighton University is looking for someone to partner with her in filming a documentary on her mother, who has dementia, from the viewpoint of the story of her journey into dementia, and the pain and hope that is associated with the difficulty of finding the right environment to care for her.

Her mother has experienced three falls in a year and has transitioned to a dementia home that houses eight residents and provides round the clock caregiving as an alternative to a nursing home. Currently her mother has had to return to the nursing home to recooperate from the most recent hip fracture. Janine would like to talk to anyone who has ideas that might come from a discussion regarding the dignity of our aging and how do families cope. She has filmed a short documentary that was edited and produced by Creighton University as part of her graduate requirements. She would like to have a more in-depth and professional approach to tell the story.
