Meeting Notes: December 9 2008- New Officers
Had a good lively discussion at the December meeting of NIFP. Eric Dwight and Chad Bring talked about their upcoming feature "PINE ACRES" and we all brainstormed creative fundraising efforts in a dismal economy. Dentists were mentioned as potential investors, makes sense right?
NEWS: NIFP will be switching to a more event driven model. We will only be meeting if a member volunteers to 'host' a meeting of their choice of topic. NIFP will remain a social, laid back networking group, with a renewed focus on helping members find the resources, knowledge and HELP to make their projects a reality. We are open to any and all ideas for meetings and meeting locations. We also like to have a beer or two in the process. But as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Nebraska Indpendent Film Projects biggest asset is still our fiscal sponsorship program. With our rental light sound and camera kits running a close second.
