Auditions for “The Pink Bicycle” at the Nebraska Film Group this Saturday!!

“The Pink Bicycle” Auditions will take place at the N.F.G. studio February 15th at 9:00 a.m. for N.F.G. members only and 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m. cattle call.
Members will be allowed to cut the line through out the audition day.

12-2 Productions is slated to film “The Pink Bicycle” the 1st week of May of 2009.
The film was adapted from a short story Olivia Johnson wrote in 2006 in which a young girl’s life is forever changed by her dream of owning a pink bicycle. This film will be submitted to numerous national film festivals for the 2010 season.

Actors Needed:

Mother: Any nationality, late twenties, plays Ophelia’s mama

Ophelia: The lead character, and is 10 years old, must be able to portray a Biracial heritage.

Taylor: Ophelia’s father, 30 years old, any nationality, construction worker type.

Marcus: Taylor’s friend between 30-40 years old, must be African American, he is the antagonist of this story.

Cool Posse: 4 girls, any nationality, 10 years old, are classmates of Ophelia.

Luke: 10 year old classmate of Ophelia’s

Extras: Classmates: 3 girls (ages 8-10) of any nationality.

5 boys (ages 8- 10) of any nationality.

Parents: 10 for parent teacher conference scene.
