JOURNAL STAR: Student film causes scare near I-80

A black-clad gunman spotted at the Interstate 80 and Cornhusker Highway interchange Saturday turned out to be a student actor.

A driver spotted the figure - dressed in black and holding what appeared to be a rifle - standing on a construction pile shortly after 1 p.m., said Lancaster County Sheriff's Sgt. Tom Brookhouser.

Arriving deputies found a group of college students working on a short film, Brookhouser said.

A toy gun was being used as a prop. No one was cited.
