NEBRASKA SUPERSONIC updates
Howdy Everybody. We're happy to announce another screening benefitting bicycle advocacy, plus various other announcement-jazz...
1) Bike-A-Roni
San Francisco Bicycle Coalition recently held an online poll to choose a cycling-themed film for their Bike Movie Night. The result: Nebraska Supersonic won with 66% of the vote! The screening is FREE, 4/26/10, 8PM at The Independent, 628 Divisadero (at Grove).
2) Cycling Props
Continued thanks to the cycling community for the props:
"What the movies Napoleon Dynamite, Breaking Away, and Quicksilver would look like if all mixed together!" --Bike Magazine
"If you have ever ridden a bike, you need to see this movie!" --DJ Chi Wai, The Biking Fools
3) Neo-Nazis :(
My radio documentary "Biloxi Stabbing" has been licensed by public radio's Radio Remix (air date TBA). The Story: My Minnesotan friend Jeff was stabbed (he's now OK) by a neo-Nazi while in Biloxi--stabbed because Jeff's white friend had dreadlocks. Jeff now sees this event--and his 14-inch scar--as a blessing.
It's also online prior to broadcast for FREE (15 mins long; sign-up required). Favorable ratings/comments would be great.
Thanks!
--Nebraska Supersonic & Jeremy Lerman
