Hey to the Folks,

Vol. III of the Home Grown Film Festival is set for showtime this September, Tuesday the 28th. It will kick off the Lincoln Calling Music Festival. Vol. III will have a theme this year, "Music Videos"
How can you get involved you ask? Well, this will be a Film Festival, so we encourage everyone to submit any film work they have laying around, or something fresh they would like to come up with. We will have the same guidelines as Vol. II - 10 minute max in Quick-time format. More details will come later, and please do send an email if you have a question.

As for the themed "Music Video" section, this is what you can do... We are wanting to pair a local film director up with a local musician/band. We're gathering up names of people on both sides who are willing to work together on this. So what we need from you is a reply back saying you're down for a Music Video shoot. We're not expecting MTV quality videos, but do reach for the stars on this one, the night could turn bad ass.
There will also be an "Extended Play" after the festival. So if you have any idea's (say, you're wanting to work with a musician/band to do a live soundtrack to your film on the Bourbon's stage, or you have film from live shows that you're wanting to edit and have shown on the big screen, let us know!) We want to rock the night out until 2am on this one, start Lincoln Calling with a bang and get some buzz going about Lincolns art community as a whole!!
