The Audition Intensive: A Focused Examination of the On-camera Audition

Description: Identify and hone the skills necessary to book professional work and use call backs to build relationships and create a lasting impression. All skill levels welcome. Everyone will work.

Fee - $35

Instructor: Thom Sibbitt trained as an actor at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU he was a Dean Selection to spend a semester at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, in London as well as selected for a semester of study with Actor Tim Robbins. Upon graduating Thom went on to spend 10 years living in New York City working in almost every area of Stage, Television, and Film. As Co-founder of The Engine: an artistic development utility, Thom worked as a facilitator for actor training in performance, voice, and auditioning.

Since returning to his hometown in Omaha, Thom has co-founded a local non-profit: ætherplough: a tool for cultivating performance and has created, produced, and presented contemporary performance work all over town. Thom is a community builder and an arts advocate.
