The 2019 Lincoln Short Film Festival welcomes short films by producers and directors from Nebraska, Colorado, South Dakota, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. Films will be screened on the Cube, a 750 sq. foot LED screen in the Railyard district that sits directly across from the Pinnacle Bank Arena. LSFF and CAP is a digital and media arts initiative sponsored by the City of Lincoln Nebraska.

This year they are seeking film shorts, experimental films, documentaries, and animations under 12 minutes in length.

$2000 in cash awards:

Best Animation/ Experimental Film – $500
Best Documentary – $500
Best Narrative Short – $500
Best Student Film (any category) – $500

Films will be screened on our large three-dimensional monitor (the Cube) on May 3rd. Hundreds of people see the Cube on a slow day, but it’s also right next to the Pinnacle Bank Arena which hosts large events that draws tens of thousands of people several times a week.

The festival application is fee is:

$10 for students, $15 for documentaries, animations, experimental, and narrative shorts
